As you now, Office apps has various update channel to let you manage how Office apps are being updated.

Well, Teams now allows you to define a policy to follow the Office update channels or to register for preview channel.

This **does not impact** the current Office channel setting and if you have users already registered in the Teams Technology Adoption Program (TAP), they will **not be** impacted.

To configure this policy, logon to your Teams administration portal ([https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/](https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/)) and reach the **Teams\Update policies** blade to edit/create existing update policy

**NOTE** the policy is set to **On** (aka **Follow Office Preview**) by default
