We all have experienced this during online meeting; organizer mute all attendees but then they unmute themselves by mistake and we all hear the background noise.
Well, Teams meeting organizer now have the ability to block attendees to unmute themselves. This can be quite useful when you are delivering a one-to-many meeting which requires close to none interaction from the attendees.
Off course, organizer can then unmute on a per request basis (either raising hand or quick chat message) individual attendee.
To use this capability, during a Teams meeting, the organizer has to go to the meeting option and then turn off the option ‘Allow attendees to unmute’ (by default they can continue to unmute themselves)
When it comes to virtual meeting, it always nice to be able to see everybody when they turn on their camera.
A new Teams attendance report for meeting (one time and recurring) and webinar is under way.
As you know Teams allows up to 10 000 attendees in a meeting, any more participant will not be able to join.
