As I sat at NerdioCon23, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. This was the second time that cubesys has been able to attend NerdioCon, and I knew that this experience will be one that we will never forget.
The conference itself was being held at a beautiful resort in Cancun Mexico, despite the gorgeous surroundings, the atmosphere was calm and laid-back. Everywhere you looked, there were people from all over the world, all here to learn and grow together in the field of cloud computing. This year, I attended with cubesys co-founders, Paul Heaton and Silvan Maeder.
For cubesys, this was an incredible opportunity to connect with other professionals in the industry, to learn from experts in the field, and to gain insights into the latest trends and technologies. We were eager to soak up as much information as possible, to share our own skills, and to make valuable connections with like-minded professionals.
One of the highlights of NerdioCon had been the keynote speeches, which have been delivered by some of the brightest minds in cloud computing. Each speaker had brought a unique perspective to the table, and offered insights and advice that we can apply in our own work.
There had also been a number of workshops and breakout sessions, which had given us the opportunity to dive deeper into specific topics and learn from experts in the field. These sessions were invaluable; they allowed us to ask questions, discuss our own experiences, and gain a deeper understanding of the issues and challenges facing the industry. We particularly found the AVD & Windows 365 Technical Overview from Olivia Chen and Deb Dubrow quite helpful.
We were also given the opportunity to talk about per-user cost attribution during Vadim’s Nerdio Manager for Enterprise Roadmap breakout session. This is an integration inside Nerdio Enterprise that allows you to view actual per-user or session costs for multi-session environments. Great for when you need to split costs across multiple cost centers.
But NerdioCon isn’t just about learning and professional development. It’s also about having fun and building relationships with other professionals in the field. There have been plenty of opportunities to network and socialize, including an excursion. We were lucky enough to visit Rio Secreto, a natural underground cave and river. It’s known for its crystal-clear waters and stunning geological formations, including stalactites and stalagmites.
As a company, cubesys has always believed in the power of community, and NerdioCon has reinforced this belief.
We were proud to share the trailblazing software, CloudClarity, in front of the NerdioCon audience.
One of the other noteworthy activities was an interview by Nerdio marketing team with Paul and Silvan. There were some bloopers and laughs, but overall, it was a lot of fun.
We are part of a global community of professionals who are passionate about cloud computing, and this conference has given us the chance to connect with people who share our enthusiasm and dedication.
Overall, attending NerdioCon 2023 in Cancun, Mexico has been an incredible experience for cubesys. We have learned so much, made valuable connections, and had a lot of fun along the way. We are already looking forward to next year’s conference and can’t wait to see what new insights and opportunities it will bring.
